For this Thanksgiving, MWW Group employees came together to lend a hand in helping bag food for the less fortunate at the Center for Food Action (CFA) in Saddle Brook, NJ. The CFA in New Jersey has as its mission, "preventing hunger and homelessness and improving the lives of individuals and families living in poverty." To this end, CFA provides emergency food packages, rental and utility assistance, counseling, advocacy and other essential services to those in need living in northern New Jersey.

In 2010 alone, CFA provided Thanksgiving food packages to 3961 households – 11,886 people. This year MWW Group rounded up into two teams; the morning shift and the afternoon shift. Both teams did a tremendous job at bagging canned goods and other holiday food. The MWW Group teams packaged a total of 1220 bags of food.

At MWW, we pride ourselves in the work that we do and volunteering to help our communities is included. The CPA has given our employees the opportunity to be part of a great cause and it is remarkable to come together to help the less fortunate this Thanksgiving.
