Every president since Franklin D. Roosevelt has been measured by his accomplishments during the first 100 days in office. The inauguration of President Barack Obama marks a period of hope and opportunity - a time for all of us to think about how we can help change our nation for the better.

So we are asking you for about 100 words that answer: What Change Are You Ready For In The First 100 Days? And What Can YOU Do to Bring About This Change?

Your submission can be spoken or written. If you represent an organization and your entry wins, MWW Group will offer you three months of pro bono PR support, worth a value of $30,000, toward helping you achieve change. If you are an individual, we will offer you a $5,000 internship at any of our 10 offices, where you will learn the PR skills to help you effect the change you describe.

The submission deadline has passed but please check back soon for the official winner announcements.

An opportunity to make a difference

I want to see Barack Obama follow through with his plan to create college scholarships for volunteer work. Since the MMW Group is an enthusiastic supporter of volunteerism, I would like to take this public relations internship opportunity to outreach to young Americans who are willing to make a difference through volunteer work. Similar to Roosevelt’s past ideas to create the AAA, to aid in America’s agricultural costs, and the CCC, to provide work for young men, I would like to focus on what opportunities Obama provides to positively impact America’s future.
