Robinson Brings Experience Working Alongside Such Major Brands as Dell, Proctor & Gamble and American Express
East Rutherford, NJ – September 24, 2008 – MWW Group (www.mww.com), one of the nation’s top ten public relations firms, announced today that Blake Robinson, former managing editor of the popular gadgets blog CrunchGear, has joined MWW Group as a Senior Digital Media Specialist. Robinson brings 10 years of digital experience and online media savvy, as well as a proven track record of leading successful initiatives for such global brands as Dell, Proctor & Gamble and American Express. Robinson will report to Saurabh Wahi, Senior Vice President for DialogueMedia.

Before joining MWW Group, Robinson worked at Federated Media as primary interpreter of Web metrics on Conversational Media campaigns for many of the firm’s flagship clients. Specifically, Robinson worked on the American Express OPEN Forum initiative, which was recently recognized as a 2008 MIXX Awards Gold Winner for Brand Awareness and Position. At Federated Media, he also specialized in data and analytics and consulting on the company’s forthcoming Conversational Measurement Toolbox.
In 2006, Robinson helped conceptualize and launch CrunchGear, where he served as a regular contributor, providing technical commentary on key industry topics. Robinson has written and reported for media websites including Read/Write Web, Uncrate, TechCrunch, paidContent and Silicon Alley Insider. He is well-versed in utilizing digital media tools such as blogs and social networks and helped to define new Web metrics based on Engagement, Amplification and Equity. A New Orleans native, Robinson attended Loyola University, where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Creative Writing.
