Ball Park on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

Wednesday, April 22, 2009
Audience: 2,000,000

BMX superstar Mike Spinner and Ball Park took late night by storm yesterday - making their official debut on ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’ to an audience of 2 million viewers!

In the more than 5 minutes of air time, Spinner demonstrated some incredible tricks including making his entrance down through the audience, jumping over Jimmy Fallon and teaching the late night host some moves of his own - all to the backdrop of Ball Park!

From Ball Park branding on Spinner’s shirt and the BMX ramp to a customized helmet with the Ball Park logo worn by Fallon, the brand was truly the guest of honor last night. To wrap up the show (and top off the figurative hot dog), Fallon even called out Ball Park’s generous donation of a year’s supply of hot dogs for the entire audience!

Following the taping of the show and leading up to the airing, both Fallon and Spinner took to their Twitter accounts to hype up the appearance, with Fallon telling his more than 790,000 followers that tonight’s guest was a BMX genius!

Additionally, while on set, Spinner taped a backstage interview for the Jimmy Fallon website, answering questions about his online activity - giving him the chance to plug Ball Park’s “First Time BMXer Takes a Spill” video. The video has already been posted on numerous BMX websites and is quickly generated many views and comments!
