In a deteriorating economic environment with a nearly unknown name, Adecco Group North America enlisted MWW Group to help it earn recognition as the leader in workforce issues, increase candidate flow and drive sales. Thanks to an aggressive program encompassing media outreach, thought leadership and awards, Adecco Group was able attain the top spot with the number one share-of-voice within media over its competitors. Our program yielded tremendous results with Adecco Group executives offering commentary on the national jobs report, becoming a staple in The Wall Street Journal, on high-profile CNBC shows, CNN, the Associated Press and more.

Studio MWW, MWW Group’s visual branding practice, set out to design and develop a mailer for Nikon that would bring the new COOLPIX line of cameras to life for the media, providing information about each camera in a unique, different and engaging way.

What happens when you take an uninhibited celebrity, add people’s fear of picture taking and one of the world’s most respected camera brands? The answer is Look Good in Pictures (www.lookgoodinpictures.com). Nikon’s on-line series gives fun, entertaining advice on how to dazzle in pictures, anytime, anywhere. Resulting in more than 105 million in circulation (monthly traffic) and 100,000 visitors to the site, it presents visitors with real life moments and practical, easy-to-use tips. In addition to providing useful advice, the program built awareness for Nikon among a key audience as the brand that makes being photographed fun.

Community Relations: HDR/Surface Transportation Board

The Surface Transportation Board (STB) is a neutral independent federal agency that is responsible for the oversight of rail road transactions. In late 2007, Canadian National Railway (CN) proposed buying the EJ&E railroad. While normally these rail transactions garner little attention, the communities impacted by additional freight trains were outraged –forming coalitions and contacting federal elected officials. MWW Group provided grassroots outreach, communicated with elected officials and organized 15 public meetings which reached more than 10,000 people. As a result of the outreach and one-on-one meetings, the showings from the impacted communities were unprecedented for a transaction of this nature.

Select assortment discount grocer ALDI turned to MWW Group when it wanted to create a brochure geared toward product suppliers. As a way to build awareness regarding store growth and success, which hinges greatly on the products the store has to offer, the brochure had to be a lively and exciting reflection of the company. Studio MWW, MWW Group’s visual branding practice, developed a warm, color-rich design, in addition to informative and engaging copy that told the powerful ALDI story.
