Lori Price Abrams Joins MWW Group As Vice President, Government Affairs In The Firm’s Trenton Office
Abrams Brings Deep Legal, Government, Community Relations and Public Policy Experience
TRENTON, N.J. – September 15, 2009 - MWW Group (www.mww.com), one of the nation’s top ten public relations firms, announced today that Lori Price Abrams has joined the company as vice president, joining the government affairs practice in the firm’s Trenton office. With more than a decade of experience in public policy, government and community relations and formerly a practicing attorney, Price Abrams will help facilitate political and public engagement and address key client issues in the New Jersey state capital and nationally.

Prior to joining MWW Group, Price Abrams was director of Community Relations for United Jewish Communities of MetroWest NJ, a top ten Jewish Federation with a $24 million annual campaign. While there, Price Abrams oversaw public policy and government relations activities, cultivated relations with government officials and religious/ethnic communities, educated audiences on public policy issues and advocated on behalf of MetroWest and its agencies. Additionally, she enhanced understanding between the Jewish community and general public, implementing targeted funding campaigns and supervising the programming of Holocaust and genocide studies.
Previously, Price Abrams served as project manager for Shelter Partnership, Inc., where she administered a $500,000 bus token program for homeless service agencies. She also developed and wrote housing needs assessment plans for emancipated foster youth, created curricula and implemented program development for service providers’ public finding proposals.
Price Abrams is a member of The State Bar of California. Having received her B.A. in Philosophy from the State University of New York at Binghamton, Price Abrams went on to receive her J.D. from Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California at Berkeley, where she was the co-executive editor for the Berkeley Woman’s Law Journal.
