MWW Group Wins Three Astrid Awards

We are pleased to announce the following campaigns from MWW Group have been named as winners in the 2010 Astrid Awards competition. This international competition pays tribute to outstanding achievement in design.  The award promotes design as a fundamental element of communications, a business imperative, and a powerful tool for commercial success.  We’re proud so many MWW Group projects have been honored.

Nikon’s Corkboard Media Mailer

nikoncorkboard2When Nikon wanted to gain visibility with the media for its COOLPIX Style Series digital cameras, the iconic camera manufacturer turned to Studio MWW, MWW Group’s visual branding practice, tocreate a unique media mailer that would catch the media’s eye while delivering all of Nikon’s message points. With a custom cork cover, the mailer invited journalists to explore Nikon and all of the COOLPIX line of camera’s offerings. Inside, the mailer included a series of flaps, each highlighting a different feature of the COOLPIX line, important product specs and all the information the media needed to report on the COOLPIX line. The mailer helped to generate coverage for Nikon’s COOLPIX line among consumer media outlets and provided a new way to reach influential media contacts.

“Drive with a Smile” Palisades Highway Art Gallery

palisades-driveMWW Group was engaged by Palisades to develop an innovative PR campaign to create buzz and drive online traffic to Palisades.com.  Leveraging the state’s large and extensive artistic community, deep support for the arts, car culture and affinity for highway driving, MWW Group launched the “Drive with a Smile” campaign to connect Palisades to the community and create New Jersey’s first ever highway art gallery. 

The Palisades post campaign awareness study showed over an 85% increase in consumer awareness, 18% increase in visit referrals from the “Drive with a Smile”site, increased online engagement nearly 3,000% and increased the brands share of voice by over 1000% within a two month period.  MWW Group secured over 19,000,000 media impressions in feature coverage and Palisades.com/DriveWithaSmile saw over 37,200 visitors during July-August exceeding the original goal by more than 300%.

berenpacThe Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC) is a vibrant not-for-profit performing arts center, however, the organization had a functional yet uninspiring web site. MWW Group restructured the organization’s web site (www.bergenpac.org) to be more visually enticing to visitors, portray a sophisticated style, and be easier for users to navigate so they could learn about bergenPAC and its services with the fewest clicks possible.  With a sleek design and unique functionality, the web site captures the energy and dynamic nature of the organization.
