We are pleased to announce Jamie Plaxco, Senior Account Executive, has been named the  “Chicago PR Young Professional of the Year” by PRSA Chicago.  This award honors the accomplishments of a rising star in the public relations profession.

Since joining MWW Group in early 2009, Jamie has worked vigorously to ensure that each of her accounts receives noteworthy media results and impeccable client service.  These qualities and Jamie’s unwavering commitment to her clients has positioned her as their “go-to” resource.  Furthermore, Jamie regularly lends her expertise to a variety of MWW Group clients, participating in new business outreach and pitches.  Jamie maintains strong, long-term consumer media relationships with short- and long-lead publications and has coordinated an array of events from industry trade shows and consumer events to webinars and conference series. 

Jamie is a member of both PRSA Chicago and Publicity Club of Chicago. She also takes part in the Step Up Women’s Network which is actively geared towards connecting professional women with young teen girls to serve as mentors.
