HBO has come up with a cool new way to advertise the premier of their popular show Boardwalk Empire. The show is based during the Prohibition era starting in 1917. Face Recognition Used for Advertising
Law enforcement officials have used facial recognition technology to identify criminals for some time, but advertisers are making use of this. Once customers walk into a supermarket, for example, there will be a digital billboard present that scans their face.
