Guinness, the Irish beer company, is turning 250 and wanted to celebrate in a big way. They’ve come up with a submarine -like bar called the Guinness Deep Sea Bar. EVOC, an outdoor sports brand, promoted their new protective backpack with an indestructible billboard. People were invited to punch a backpack on the billboard in order to prove its durability. Facebook Hires Lightbox Team
Facebook announced that it has hired Lightbox’s entire team. Lightbox is similar to Instagram and is run by a team of seven engineers. Facebook will not be acquiring any user data from prior to its acquisition, and announced that users have until June 15th to backup all their data. Lightbox will be shut down after this date. Facebook will be moving forward in making mobile work for the company. (AllThingsD)
