Steve Mnich Joins MWW As Director In Agency’s San Francisco Office
Mnich Brings Expertise in B2B and B2C Technology Sectors, Further Expanding MWW’s Presence in the Bay Area
SAN FRANCISCO, June 26, 2012—MWW (www.mww.com), one of the top ten global independent public relations firms, announced today that Steve Mnich has joined MWW as director in the firm’s San Francisco office. In his role, Mnich will provide counsel to a number of MWW’s Bay Area clients, developing digital and traditional media strategy, as well as heading new business and partnership initiatives to help grow the agency’s market presence. He will also help lead the San Francisco arm of MWW Ventures, MWW’s strategic early stage and startup arm to help identify, partner with incubate the most promising companies.

Prior to joining MWW, Mnich served as the managing director for S&S Public Relations (SS|PR), where he launched and led the company’s West Coast office. During his tenure at SS|PR, he led corporate communications, brand marketing, media relations, U.S. go-to-market and content strategies and initiatives for dozens innovative companies. He has worked within the B2B and B2C technology sectors, including e-commerce, mobile and digital, venture capital, semiconductor, solar and CSR initiatives. Mnich also played a critical role in SS|PR’s business development initiatives.
Mnich serves as an advisory board member for Minds Matter San Francisco, a non-profit that helps high-achieving high school students from low-income families achieve their dreams of attending college. He is also a founding advisor to The Kairos Society, a global network of top student and global leaders using entrepreneurship and innovation to solve the world’s greatest challenges. Mnich provides senior media and communications counsel to political officials, executives and student entrepreneurs, and has championed international entrepreneurism working with dozens of early-stage CEOs.
