EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. - July 26, 2010 - MWW Group, one of the nation’s top ten public relations firms, announces the release of its second annual Corporate Citizenship Report.  With a theme of “Promise-Practice,” the 2010 report reflects MWW’s policy of aligning promise to corporate citizenship with its practice that sustainability strategy and business strategy are created in tandem, not in isolation. The report documents the firm’s commitment to sustainability, community engagement, fostering economic growth, creating an engaging and rewarding workplace for employees, and it’s “Aim High. EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ - July 23, 2010 -MWW Group (www.mww.com), one of the nation’s top ten public relations firms, announced today that the agency was awarded top honors at the PRSA Pyramid Awards in seven categories including “Best of Show,” Hosted by the New Jersey Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), the Pyramid Awards, recognize the best public relations campaigns of the year.

“Working in tandem with Volkswagen, we really went for something new, creative and head-turning, something that hasn’t been done for a major consumer product launch, let alone a new vehicle,” said Michael W. Kempner, president and CEO of MWW Group.  “Through creativity, strategic thinking and exceptional teamwork, our combined team drove tremendous attention to the GTI, while essentially reinventing the process of publicizing a new car launch.

“Best of Show” - Volkswagen and MWW Group Launch GTI Mobile App

MWW Group and Volkswagen were awarded the prestigious Best of Show for the campaign “Volkswagen GTI Becomes the World’s First Car Launched Exclusively on a Mobile Device,” developed to promote the launch of the Volkswagen GTI solely through a mobile application, and eschewing paid media and advertising. The GTI was the first car in the world to be launched on an iPhone and use a mobile gaming strategy to reach its 25-40 year old technologically conscious male target.  MWW Group launched the campaign with a press, blogger and influencer event in New York at the Classic Car Club of Manhattan.  The results included a #1 app in 36 countries and a Top 5 free app in all countries where the iTunes Store is available with more than 3.7 million downloads and more than 80% increase in leads, quotes and test drives.  The program generated more than 255 million media impressions in just 6 weeks.
